The evolution of bacteria
Today I learned about the long-term evolution experiment (LTEE). Gives a good window into how evolution works and the ability for us to use microbes to see the impact of long-term generational changes. It also shows how microbes get antibiotic resistance and helping scientists understand how to combat antibiotic resistance.
